some reflections about the last seminar

I liked the second seminar about crimes not because of the topic but because we shared some thought and everything was well organised .

Everybody participated and expressed his own opinion ; we had a discussion about the surveillance society and to what extent do we agree with it .

In fact , we started the seminar by comparing our surveillance society in our countries with London .
We found some similarities that is to say that we agreed that in our countries we used the identity cards and some CCTV in shops .

However , we noticed that here in London , the government had placed a different and various forms of surveillance technology such as Monitoring , identity cards , databases , CCTV ....

The second part of the seminar was focused on our point of view ; whether we are for or against these forms of surveillance .

Well the majority of us think that the surveillance society is a good way to prevent such form of crimes like violence , vandalism ......

But some think that this new form of technology can interfere in our private life .
